I have an iMac that has an Epson Photo 820 attached. I've
turned on printer sharing, and I can't see the printer from
any other machine. This is actually an improvement over the
HP CP1160 I had attached which you *could* see from other
machines, but which would only print some pages of a document.
So, two questions: where should the printer show up--rendezvous
or Appletalk? Second, what double-secret thing do I have to do
to print from another OS X box (if it's relevant, file sharing
works fine already).
Thanks for any advice.

P.S., I suppose there isn't any way to print from a Windows
box on the same network that's straightforward, is there?
