Lots of words used in computing will not be found in Webster, or at least
not in the same sense. All words were coined at some time or another,
generally dictionaries give them a few years to see if they're going to
stay around, except for ones that go for slang or vogue words.

The best place to start with word searches is <http://www.onelook.com/>
which does a lookup on several dictionary and word sites. For "munge" most
came up with the entry from the "jargon file" that I posted earlier. As a
last resort, just Google it ("Google" as verb is another neologism, they
tried to stop it being documented, but failed), but treat the random
sources that come up with caution.
