Wouldn't it open in whatever program you have set as the default for PDF files? It seems after I installed 10, Preview was the default. When I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader (for OS X,) I changed the default so it would open with Acrobat Reader.
If you have both versions of Acrobat Reader installed and normally use OS X, I would suspect you'd want the default to be either Preview or the OSX version of Acrobat Reader. However, you could, I suppose, set the OS9 version as the default and run it under classic, though I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.
