AFAIK, the rev A and B use the same daughterboard and LB architecture...The rest of them are not interchangeable.
What sort of software are you running? I am running Jaguar on my Rev A without too much of a performance hit. I maxed the RAM and VRAM through 8004memorty and that helps!
