Douglas,

1. The "original Bondi iMac" could be a rev. A or rev. B. Rev. C was 
266 MHz (the first five-fruit-flavors model). If you have a rev. A, 
you should upgrade the VRAM to 6MB by putting a 4MB into the empty 
slot. The rev. B already has the 6MB.  Also think about whether the 
4GB hard disk is big enough.

2. What applications are listing 266MHz as the minimum (and is that 
266MHz on a Mac?)?

3. The more expert list members will have to answer your question 
about pulling the daughtercard from a later iMac. I have never read 
anything about anyone doing this.

4. I don't remember any processor upgrades other than the Sonnet 
Harmoni G3 and Power Logix G4 although I think there is one other 
one. My only suggestion would be to check with the used Mac parts 
dealers, mailing lists, newsgroups, eBay etc. If you are hot-rodding 
SE's, you must be familiar with these sources, no? :-)
