Hi Listie's: I'm trying to install OS 9.1 on a Bondi Blue. The install program say's I have to "update" the firmware! I run "Firmware update 3" and then shut down the sytem per the directions. I press and hold the "programmer's button" (the Lower of the 2), Hit the power button, wait for the tone, release the button, and let it start up! The system say's my update was unsuccesful! My question is; this system has a dying PRam battery. What is the impact of that on the firmware upgrade process??? Must I replace it first before proceeding with the upgrade?
