More importantly, do you have any idea why you're getting a frozen
screen? Under OS X this should definitely NOT be happening!

I've found that repairing disk permissions solves all kinds of problems that you'd wouldn't think would be a problem. I've seen this hint on a number of sites.


Disk Utility is usually found in the /Applications/Utilities folder. Go to the First Aid tab and click on "Repair Disk Permissions."
