Why would anyone want to use virus protection on a Mac? Waste of clock cycles on an operating system virtually impervious to such attacks. ABSOLUTELY impervious if you exercise common sense about opening unknown files.
Actually I use virus protection (Virex) on my Mac's to be considerate of my computer impaired business associates who are stuck in the world of wintel. I exchange a great number of Excel, Word and PPT files with industrial and governmental users. Using current virus protection is just being a "good neighbor" so I don't spread MS worms.

The damn things are ubiquitous with governmental and military users. At least I can stop them at my end. Plus it gives me a chance to point out the benefits of Mac's. <G>
