I paid for a firm to take my 16mm movie and convert it to a digital format. They did, but sent it back on a DVD that was formatted for Wind**s. I cannot access this through a SuperDrive. I'm wondering if there is a "can opener" that can open a Windo**e DVD and let me copy the file to my HD??
Did you try to put the disk in a stand-alone DVD player? As far as I know the if it is a standard DVD the Mac should at least mount it. If it's a Windows data DVD then I've never encountered that situation. It wouldn't hurt to verify with the company what format the disk is in.
