Probably. I think the only things you're allowed to access are the RAM 
slots and the PRAM battery (accessable under the panel on the eMac's 
belly). From what I can see, and what I've heard from others, the eMac is 
rather difficult to open up, and even harder to put back together. I'd 
recommend external Firewire enclosures (I use one for a 80GB HD-- works 
great) for what you want to add, if you're not completely confident in 
your abilities.
