How about this:
"Apple will probably not care if you improve these components, but if anything goes wrong, they will NOT fix it. You are putting hundreds if not thousands of dollars at risk and I would strongly recommend that you have an Apple-Authorized tech perform the upgrade at the very least."

Ok I have decided to play it safe and I have ordered 2 firewire external cases oxford 911.
A 3.5" for my 80Gb HD and 5.25" for the DVD burner.
