read the warranty agreement again, chas... it only 'voids' the warranty if damage is done to the machine during the process, or if the installed components cause damage.

How about this:


"Apple will probably not care if you improve these components, but if anything goes wrong, they will NOT fix it. You are putting hundreds if not thousands of dollars at risk and I would strongly recommend that you have an Apple-Authorized tech perform the upgrade at the very least."
