Is this standard on all/most keyboards aimed at the windows world?
Yes, CTRL has always been the same on both machines (modern PCs/Macs 386/68030 onwards) while the ALT has had the position of the Command (Apple) key with a gap inbetween the two.
Then "they" added the Windoze key inbetween the two...
