I'm on an iMac 400 DV. I loaded Dreamweaver 4, and in working through the tutorial have been unable to get past Site > New Site without it causing Dreamweaver to quit every time. After downloading an update from Macromedia, and running Disk First Aid and DiskWarrior, the problem still persists. (That's problem #1.) So I trashed the whole Dreamweaver folder and loaded it again. Now I get a prompt telling me that the local root directory is missing. (Problem #2.) I wasn't getting that prompt when the original problem started. Is there just one root directory? Or is there one for each application? Or for certain applications? Help!
