Several of you have sent suggestions. I can tell by your questions that I've left out an important bit of info in this request. I have 9.2.2 on my iMac, and OS X on the external drive. I loaded Dreamweaver on 9.2.2, not on Classic. I don't know if the local root directory is a Mac thing or a Dreamweaver thing. In other words, is it standard issue on every Mac, or is it a folder that is placed somewhere on the computer when Dreamweaver is installed?
