Netscape 7.1 in Jaguar is behaving a little badly. I imported a profile for our nonprofit from NS 4.7 into 7.1 and it *seemed* to go smoothly (this is not the one that caused so much trouble). However, in the Address Book, some of the name cards seemed corrupted (I'm assuming that's the cause for this following behavior:) We made a New List and instead of being able to drag existing addresses into it, we had to start to type each one. I.e., type "Do" and a small list of possible names would pop up, including "Don Hinkle" and "DooDoo Sasquatch". Would highlight the desired one and it would appear in the list. Then close the Properties of the List and look at it again. Lo! Where before "Don Hinkle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> was before, now is just a single lonely "Don", without the address. We tried over and over to fix this. I finally deleted the "bad" card and typed a new one, exactly the same. Now, at last, the name/addresses seem to have "stuck" in the List.
Another problem: there was an earlier list that had lost half its names during the import (no idea why). After making the new one, we hit Delete on the old one, and it disappears, but lo, it appears again, like an undestructible monster in a horror movie.
Has anyone else encountered these problems? Any idea what to do about them?
