Does anyone have any experiences running an iMac DV (400MHz, 384MB, 40GB 7200 HD) with Jaguar? I am considering upgrading my mum's computer and I don't want her to have to learn OSX if it's going to be unbearably slow. Is Quartz Extreme enabled? Does Classic run OK? What's this I hear about needing to put Jag on the first 8MB partition of the drive. Mum keeps complaining that all her friends say that windows is better... I don't want her going to the dark side!
