Love my eMac, but its very heavy and the fan is on constantly. Screen is great and serves my family needs from gaming on line to some digital photo manipulation. The keyboard is way better than the old iMacs. We also watch DVDs on it, if the one TV in our house is in use.
Do you have the mini-vga to S-video/RCA Sound converter thingy?
Everyone mentions the noise. Well, I will just have to drag my FIL over to the Apple store and see if he wants the $1000 emac or the $1300 iMac.
One advantage to the eMac is it uses standard PC133 RAM instead of SO-DIMM
