Well, I think that's absurd and short-sighted. the basic assumption that someone subscribing to another list somehow diminishes this list is insulting to your subscribers. Mailing lists are not a 0 sum game (as someone with several dozen mailin list subscriptions I don't drop a list when I add a new one, nor have I ever heard of anyone doing so).
Be that as it may, I will not post about the other list again. Or any other list.
