Have you ever wondered what happened to the G1 and the G2 label?

No. The marketing people just didn't think of it at the time.


Why not G1?

The 601 chip was the "G1." The 603/603e/604 chips were the "G2s".


Any thoughts on this, or am I the only one that
wonders about these things?
