No.
The 68k's are another thing entirely. We're talking about "generations" 
of PPC here.

Apple called it the "G3" (the third generation of PPC) probably because 
the PPC naming scheme got too weird (601, 603, 604, then 750? huh?). The 
601 and 603/4 got nicknamed "G1" and "G2" in retrospect.
