I know this isn't strictly an iMac question but i shall ask anyway.
You know, in safari, when you begin to type in an address, and it comes up with suggestions. How do you delete specific entries in that suggestions list?

A very interesting question. I'll tell you what *doesn't* work to remove those suggested URLs, just to save others the trouble of advancing these notions:

Empty Cache
Clear History
Reset Safari (from Safari Menu)
Delete Safari plist
Delete History plist
Remove Safari and re-install

Dan, I've just discovered something that might interest you. As I said, I found that clearing History did not work for me to disable the attempted auto-completion of URLs. I now have reason to believe that that was because I have *bookmarked* those URLs. So, as long as your unwanted URL "ghosts" are not in your Bookmarks file, you may find that clearing History works for you. I'd appreciate knowing, if that's the case.
