Sadly, I've already set the IP addresses (192.168.0.1 for the PC, 192.168.0.2 for the iMac, both on subnet mask 255.255.255.0), and it's still a no go. Maybe I'm entering the address incorrectly on the iMac? "smb://192.168.0.1/Compaq" Compaq, being the name i designated in the noetwork settings for my PC.
