1. Connect the iMac to the PC with a crossover Ethernet cable

2. Download and install the appropriate version of PCMacLAN on the PC from
http://www.miramar.com/Miramarweb.nsf/web/prod_main_productsindex
Share appropriate directories

3. In the AppleTalk control panel set connect via: to 'Ethernet'

4. In the file sharing control panel turn file sharing on

5. Select AppleShare in the Chooser - PC MACLAN appears as a file server -
select it and connect to the desired directory
