More so. Apple pioneered windows, toolboxes and more; IBM/MS spent the next DECADE playing catch-up. And they STILL haven't ironed out all their wrinkles.

Apple may have pioneered windows (after hiring scientists from PARC), but it should be known they didn't invent the interface paradigm. That was Xerox PARC. The computer was the Star. This is also the origin of ethernet, the mouse, the programming language Smalltalk, and the laser printer.
