Of course. The Mac is a Personal Computer. Some would say it's the ONLY "Personal" computer, the others are "corporate" computers. :)
These days no PC Users Group would turn away anyone because they owned a Mac ... more likely they would invite them to bring in their machine (particularly if it's an iMac or a G5) for a demonstration.
