I thought Panther would read and write to NTFS too but when I tried it the
whole system locked up and crashed! :'(! (Multiple times)


Um, dude, the WWDC Preview was an ALPHA. It's *supposed* to crash and lock up. It was full of bugs.

Since then I got fed up with the stupid Panther WWDC and returned my iMac
400 DV to OS 9.2.2

As it said right on the jacket of the CD, "this OS is not to be used on production machines or drives that contain any data you value." (or words to that effect)
