Hi Listers, I have been unsuccessfully trying to get File Sharing (OS 9.2.2) on my iMac for two hours now. I have been using Networks and File Sharing for years and years but stopped 3 years ago. I hope it is something easy to figure out but at the moment its got me stumped. Can someone help me please.
Appletalk is on and when I click Start File Sharing in the File Sharing Tab it just blinks and blinks and access the hard drive but never actually starts. I have tried rebooting with Apple OS ALL extensions only and Apple Base Extensions but neither helped. The File Sharing control panel is doing a lot of drive accessing but never finishes. Any ideas?
