How about swapping the CD-RW in my iLamp with a DVD-R? I've not seen instructions on how to take the iLamp apart for anything but RAM/Airport.
It is NOT an wasy job. The flat panel iMac is a complex piece of engineering that relies on Laptop technology and so is inherently very fiddly and complex to dismantle.
