There is a new option when sending an attachment via mail.app. A check box labeled "Send Windows Friendly Attachment". I have been through the "What's new" section of mail help and queried help. I haven't found any explanation of this yet, and ti's not mentioned in the material that came with 10.3.
Does this do what I think and automatically append file extensions, etc. for mailing to windooze users?
Just curious. I expect Pogue's missing manual will cover it, but it doesn't ship for a month yet.
