accessible since itunes will not work.

In that user's Music folder should be a folder called "iTunes." Inside that should be another folder called "iTunes Music" along with a few other files with names like "iTunes 4 Music Library." Move all those files (if any) to the trash (*not* the folder called "iTunes Music" -- just the other files!).


You may also need to remove the com.apple.iTunes.plist file from that user's Library/Preferences folder.

Now launch iTunes, and it will behave as though this is the first time it's been launched. It will ask if you want it to automatically search and add music to the Library. Yes you do.
