Well, I bought and installed Aladdin's Internet Cleanup 1.0 because I thought some sneaky people may have zapped my iMac with a spyware tag of some sort. After running the software it got a clean bill of health, so to speak - no spies.
I guess I am a tad paranoid about these things, but still I feel better just knowing everything, as far as security, is ship shape. I installed this on OS 9.2.2. BTW, the manual says it can only be run on OS 10.1, not higher versions eg: Jaguar or Panther. Thanks again to all who helped me on this question.
