I'd like to upgrade our blueberry to Jaquar. I've recently updated from 9.1 to 9.2. The Imac has 256+ ram and 6 gig harddrive. One of the reasons I haven't upgrade yet is that I read somewhere that I may need to upgrade the firmware to make it compatible for OSX. I don't have an internet connection on that machine. What's the best way to tell if I'll run into firmware issues? (other than try and install jaquar?) Thanks.Check the Apple system profiler. If it does not show version 4.1.9, you need the update. You can always download from Apple's siteit on another machine and burn it to CD to get it to the iMac. Works fine. That's exactly how I did it awhile back.
