I recently moved back to Macs with a new 1Ghz eMac. However, I noted a problem that I am not sure if we are behind the PC world (gasp) that maybe someone has a solution.

When I burn a data CD on the eMac, that's it. It can only be used one time, and no other information can be written to it.
In the PC world this is called single session. My PC could do a "multi-session" burn, where you could keep adding files until the CD was full.

Is this possible with an eMac? My question is... is this hardware or software?

If it is software, can you buy additional software that does better (something like Toast?)

Thanks to all in advance.

Ken Martin
