A few messages ago ThinkFree Office came up as well, so I hope it is OK to jump in here.
Not sure if I had everything set up correctly, but I found ThinkFree Office to be quirky and relatively slow. I lived with it for a good long time - at least a year. Finally went to MS Office. For my purposes, there was no comparison. The MS product was the real deal. I am no fan of much of PC-dom but good work should be recognized as such regardless. For me, the extra $$ for the MS product was well spent in terms of reduced hassles and reliability issues. Ironically, that is the same argument I make when persuading folks to switch away from the MS operating system to the more costly Mac!
