From: vwmail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>$350 to get a six-year-old machine running to (the low end of) modern specs (G3 600MHz plus a FW port) seems "cheap" to me, but of course with eMacs selling new for ~$700, the value is strictly a judgment call for the individual user.
I want to thank you for the time you put into replying to my query. I really love Rev. B. Bondi and I am looking at ways to keep it on the desk and not in the attic. Thanks to all the posts , I am exploring a replacement internal CDRw, bigger hard drive and maybe even the leap to OS X. Too bad there's not a cheap way to add a firewire port.
