My speakable items is off, but today , know that i'm
listening for it, its completetly silent.

Seems mine is only occassional, maybe after the
machine has been awake awhile ? maybe mine is heat
related, but at any rate it only really got my
attention a couple of days ago incidentely before the
first post surfaced.

Btw what troubles me more is I have an occasional
crackeling sound coming from my mac in general when
its awake or asleep, its been doing it for a couple of
months, its not necessarely coming from the speakers,
i think its the monitor or the body (15" 800m)
strange, makes me nervous.
