Hello - I am quite fond of the way the iTunes panel
minimizes to a sliver of a control panel on the screen
when I press the + button. I can only assume that the
designers wanted us to be able to stash the shrunken
iTunes controls discreetly in a corner of the monitor,
ready for instant access but not rudely hogging
precious screen space. However, I find that the
panel floats on top only until I click on something in
another application, at which point it vanishes
"behind" the application. At that point, to find the
minimized sliver requires going down to the dock and
clicking the iTunes icon (iCon?), which kinda defeats
the purpose of the nifty shrink feature. I would like
the controls to stay "floating" on top of all other
applications all the time, except of course when I use
the x or - buttons to really get rid of them. That
way, I could adjust volume, pause, ID artist, etc
without going on an iTunes hunt. Am I overlooking
some incredibly obvious method of keeping iTunes
"always on top"? A trip thru Help did not help.

John
