Anyone have the new eMac 1.25 Ghz? How is the level of fan noise?
Also I still have a dead iMac & would be grateful for any advice -
I have a Rev A bondi imac which I have just started powering from 220 V instead of 110. Initially I tried using a stepdown transformer but got a number of kernel panics so decided to use the 220 straight. Worked sometimes, not others.
It now refuses to start at all; orange light comes on, fan comes on on 'Start', but nothing else. No sound from HD, will not restart from the paper clip trick. Only disconnect power, but still will not restart past orange light and fan.
Would anybody know what the problem is? & how to fix?
Please respond directly as I am on digest mode, but must travel before I would get next digest.
