Thanks for the advice. I already have an UPS -- it's why my PC has lasted these 5 years. I'll be sure to get that software. Can you purchase RAM from Apple? My eMac has only 256 MB of RAM.
You can, but it's pretty outrageously priced. I'd suggest a reputable, mac-friendly dealer like 1-800-4-MEMORY (aka Coast to Coast), or crucial.com.
