Another thing that comes up on these lists from time to time is the fact that what you consider overheating may be a nice comfortable temperature for your computer. I remember a few years ago someone trying to keep their iMac cool by having a fan from above blowing DOWN onto the computer, and others responded that the iMac was designed to cool on its own by allowing the heat to RISE up through its vents. I gathered that unless your room is blazing hot, your computer is probably o.k. Gone are the days when "computer rooms" had to be kept crispy cold.

You make a valid point, I think its basically what Chas was trying to say except he is a lot more abrupt and rude about it. *Ignores protests coming from Chas's direction*


Now can we get back to the subject line please? We've kind of wandered off track here, oh wait silly me, we were never on the right track thanks to you-know-who and his love affair with shooting people down.
