Thanks Charles. You know, I am very excited. It's funny though, that the fella I bought the computer from hadn't had the ram installed because in his words "As for the memory, we live in an area that has no Mac support. We just havent had the time to drive to the nearest city to get the memory installed. We decided if it doesnt sell at auction, well go ahead and drive to Jacksonville, FL to install the memory." It seems pretty straight forward though, from the information that was provided here.
For now I plan to use the iMac for word processing, digital photography and internet. I have wanted to use on-line banking for some time now but my browser and system software were too outdated. With OS X I'll have no problem taking advantage of on-line banking. Thanks for the welcome.
