Ok. I know the Rev A can't use a hard drive larger than 128 GB... so I bought an 80 GB drive instead (Best Buy $50 after rebate).
The iMac doesn't seem to recognize it. At least the OS X Disk Utility doesn't. Does it have to be partitioned BEFORE use. I thought it was only a booting issue that required the boot partition to be fully in the first 8 GB of space. Shouldn't the drive itself still be seen by the Disk Utility so that I can partition it? Or is the Rev A drive size limit lower than 80 GB? If so, what is the limit?!? -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
