Conflicts were not the problem. I just went through a battery of basic maintenance routines and a few other suggestions found on the web and the whole Office 2001 suite works fine. One or more of these things solved the problem: - Reset P-RAM - Rebuilt desktop - Increased Word Memory to 48000 preferred - Turned off Norton AV auto protect in control panel Here is a very helpful site for anyone having problems with Word: http://word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/TroubleshootWord2001Content.htm So what are the reviews on Office 2004 for Mac OSX?
