Thanks to everyone that answered my previous questions about Extreme-level wireless.
I have been doing some research and hunting. I think a 3rd party PC card for the TiBook is the way to go. I am open to suggestions and experiences. I see lots of mention of the Orinoco products. The iMac Graphite 400 is a different story. Since the connectors are not the same for the newer cards, I am wondering what the options are (I told my wife a new AE-ready Mac is the solution, but...). Is there an adapter converter allowing AE cards to fit in the legacy slot? How about the external USB bridges? Any other ideas. Although I will likely get an Express access point, I have though about LinkSys, Netgear or D-Link. Mac support seems to run from sketchy to non-existant.
