I have a 1999 iMac DV SE 400mhz w/512m (not matched) Can I leap from 9.2.2
to Panther and pass up Jaguar entirely?
Yes. Each "major" (ie paid) release of OS X is independent and doesn't require that you own the previous version.
I don't do graphic intensive stuff or make movies or would even use garage band.
But you should!! :)
..just very simple stuff and
eBay selling. But, I just so dislike IE and Outlook Express and dearly want
to be rid of them and AOL.
I certainly like Safari better than IE, and Mail better than OE (though Entourage is available for OS X, as is AOL)
I finally have DSL now and would like to enter the 21st century. What do you all think.
Well said.
