Hi All,

I have a 20 GB hard drive partitioned with 5.9 GB (useable) for system software/
applications and 12.7 GB (usaeble) for data. I got my Mac one year old in nearly new
condition already configured this way and have never changed it. It has OSX 10.2.8 and
OS 9.2.2 and with Apps has only 1 GB of space left.

1. Is it possible repartition in OSX without having to reinitialize the HD and
reinstalling OS and Apps? AND not lose anything!

2. Are there any bloated largly unnessesary elements or files in OSX I can delete to
make room? For example Receipts file which appears to be duplicates of all my
software downloads and the Printer file seems to have unneeded items. After all, if I
change or add a printer later can't I install the needed software at that time?

In OS 9 I knew what everything was but OSX is still too new to me to start
trashing items.

Thanks - Mike
