Just picked up my first USB Mac... sorta. I found a Grape iMac sans keyboard and CD drive. It appears to power up fine, then gives the flashing question mark icon, which I'm asuming is still the symbol for no System Folder found. All my Macs until now have been ADB machines, so I'm sort of in a whole new word as I try to attempt getting this guy operational.
Is there a way to determine if it's a revision C or D without cracking the thing open? ie, via the serial number?) I haven't quite figured out how to take it apart yet. Its Family number is M4984 Serial number ends in "-A" Copyright 1998 How suitable are these for OSX? Firewire capable? Possible keyboard issues? I recall reading a long time ago something about there being compatibility issues between the bondi and fruit-coloured iMac keyboards. -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
