I have not had good printing performance using any non- genuine Epson ink cartridges in my Epson Stylus CX5200. They have always looked washed out. I spent a long time with the nozzel cleaning and other maintenance aspects and could never get the colors looking right or the blacks as dark. When I switch back to Epson cartridges its good again. My wife and I use the printer for business flyers and other business docs so we are very discerning of the quality. I have a feeling different Epson printer models may have different results. Are you buying the refills of Epson cartridges or a third party manufactured cartridge? Were you able to compare the quality with genuine Epson ink? We would love to find a better deal on ink cartridges as long as the quality remains high.
