When I've transferred Mail and it's preferences I've just copied the Mail folder from user/library/ and the preferences from user/library/preferences. Mail will open looking exactly the same as you're used to.
Hope this helps-
Ford

I have an iMac DV 400, a new Powerbook, and an external Firewire HD. I would like to transfer some stuff to the Powerbook. Using my digital camera, I transferred all my photos. Using iSync, I transferred Address Book info (successfully) and iCal (not so successfully). I would like to transfer all of my e-mail, with mailboxes. I'd also like to transfer Safari bookmarks. I guess iSync transferred my Bookmarks Bar (I didn't). Would someone who has already done it, successfully, tell the rest of us how you did it? I want to use my Powerbook as my main computer but so much current stuff is on my iMac. Both are on 10.3.4.

Thanks for your input,
Claire
